Ductless fume cabinet and enclosures with back-up filter system.
Bigneat’s Chemcap Pro2 range is similar in many ways to the Chemcap Clearview models however a back-up filter is incorporated into filter housing to provide extra protection.
Pro2 ductless fume hoods include double Chemcap carbon and/or HEPA particulate filtration. A range of three standard cabinet sizes with touch button controls and audible low airflow alarm. The work surface is black which highlights spillages. This cabinet has a trapezium front access as standard with double hinged flaps for easy access to cabinet interior. Two service ports with covers are supplied in the side panels.
Operator Protection:
Double filtration protection, double safe. Chemcap Pro2 is designed for using with the most toxic fumes, vapours and particulates. This cabinet incorporates a back up filter. In the event of breakthrough of fumes, which happens following the saturation of the lower filter, they will be caught in the back-up filter. The filter housing incorporates an inter-filter sampling port.
Comfort and Convenience:
Pro2 cabinets offer clearview all-round vision and are fully portable. Cabinet includes lighting and trapezium front access as standard with double hinged and lockable front door flaps for easy access to cabinet interior.

When the lower filter reaches saturation point, any fumes breaking through are retained by the upper back-up filter.
To facilitate periodic testing of the inter-filter gases, the filter housing contains a integral sampling chamber. During service the main filter is removed and the back up filter is dropped down to become the main filter and a new back-up filter installed.
